Dragon Ball Z

- Today's anime review will be on a show titled Dragon Ball Z. Undoubtedly the success of this show was due to the amount of powerful characters that emanate from it. They all contain an absurd amount of strength both ominous and righteous characters. This particular series receives a four out of five on the rating scale. Overall it is well rounded but the reason it got a four instead of a five was because of the narration at the end of each episode it was extremely annoying.

- The main character is Goku, at birth he was instilled with villainous intents but when he came to earth he suffered a head injury that made him good. I prefer darker characters especially if they are main characters, they make for better character development. Goku is part of a race called Saiyans; they destroy worlds or sell them for money. The character evolution is great both physically and psychologically though the timeline moves at a high rate.

- I recommend this show to anyone who likes strong characters that develop fast. In order to understand the show you have to watch the prequel "Dragon Ball". The Prequel "Dragon Ball" is recommended for those who enjoy slow pace character development. It is necessary to watch both so you can enjoy all of the sequels. Without an origin the story does not make sense so if you do jump straight to Dragon Ball Z, remember it could have been better if you were to have watched "Dragon Ball.
