Created by Masashi Kishimoto, released on February 15, 2007 ended on March 23, 2017. Ending with a strong 500 episodes and a ten year life span. It actually has a span of 15 years since it is the sequel to the prior show Naruto. Naruto had five seasons and today's blog will be comparing and contrasting the two.

Naruto Shippuden blows Naruto out of the water in the sense of entertainment. Shippuden contains much more character explanation and tests the strength of the characters better than it ever did in Naruto. Naruto is a crucial part to the story there is no disputing that though it tends to get boring. It feels like the characters stand still and do not develop at all in Naruto which can prove to be frustrating.

Shippuden will receive a nine out of ten on the rating scale. The thing I enjoy so much about shippuden is how strong each character gets in a short time span. Like most anime shows it is about fighting. There are many villages called "hidden villages" and clans they are constantly under attack the, strongest prevail the weakest collapse. Though they share a common and extremely powerful common enemy. The common enemy brings the villages together and fuels the rapid development of power amongst characters. It will not receive a ten because of how many times things are repeated to compensate for the commercials it would have if I watched it on cable.
