- I know that this movie is not anime though it deserves an appreciation post. Starring Jim Carry airing on June 5th, 1998 genre: drama/fantasy. The reason I am posting a review of a regular movie is due to it's potential as an anime series. This is a thought provoking movie that will leave you questioning whether or not reality is real. If any show or movie anime or not can do such a thing it deserves an award.

- Now to a summary of the movie. The Truman Show is about a man living his life on set. He is constantly being filmed 24 hours a day seven days a week. "Truman" the main character was the first child adopted by a production company. His life was essentially nothing but a play. Until he started to notice the abnormal behavior of the actors on set he thought he led a normal life. Eventually he escaped the dome that bounded him to that life.
- This movie received five out of five stars. The reason it gets five and no less is because the state your mind will be left in after watching. Leaving you to question your existence is something even most anime can not do. The plot would indubitably make for a great anime show with the right producers and artists of course. That is all for today's post, have a great day.
